Potato Salad

Walt’s moderenized version of Grandma Viefhaus’s German recipe

Ingredients

  • 5 lbs. red potatoes, cubed into bite-sized pieces
  • 1 cup diced green onions
  • 1 cup chopped celery
  • 1 lb. thick sliced bacon
  • 16 oz. Marzetti Slaw Dressing
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Directions

  1. Boil potatoes until tender but not too soft, about 25 minutes. Allow to cool.
  2. While potatoes are cooking, cook the bacon.
  3. Combine all ingredients and chill. For best results, make at least 12 hours before serving.
